Data Source Integrations
Oracle RDBMS
TopBraid EDG integrates with Oracle databases using two options: 1. data cataloging through import of DDL definitions and 2. “live” import of data schema with data profiling and sampling through JDBC. Custom data imports are supported through scripting.

PostgreSQL
TopBraid EDG integrates with PostgreSQL databases using two options: 1. data cataloging through import of DDL definitions and 2. “live” import of data schema with data profiling and sampling through JDBC. Custom data imports are supported through scripting.

Snowflake
TopBraid EDG integrates with Snoflake datawarehouses using two options: 1. data cataloging through import of DDL definitions and 2. “live” import of data schema with data profiling and sampling through JDBC. Custom data imports are supported through scripting.

Amazon S3
TopBraid EDG offers the following integrations with S3:
- Versions of asset collections saved in S3 bucket;
- Attachments for any assets stored in S3
- S3 used as a source of document corpus

Tableau – Coming Soon
Tableau is a popular BI reporting system. It captures information about data sources and dataflows. TopBraid EDG can get information about the data sources in the Tableau Server.

Sitemap
TopBraid EDG can use a website’s sitemap or a list of URIs as a source of the document corpus. Typically, used to make documents available to EDG for tagging.
Included in TopBraid Tagger with AutoClassifier module, used together with Vocabulary Management.
MySQL
TopBraid EDG integrates with MySQL databases using two options: 1. data cataloging through import of DDL definitions and 2. “live” import of data schema with data profiling and sampling through JDBC. Custom data imports are supported through scripting.

JDBC
TopBraid EDG can use JDBC to connect for data cataloging, profiling and sampling to any data source not explicitly mentioned on this page. A data source must provide JDBC driver that delivers data schema information.

Hive
TopBraid EDG can catalog Hive databases by importing DDL definitions. Custom data imports are supported through scripting.
Included in EDG Package: Metadata Management.
Spreadsheets
TopBraid EDG supports import and export of information in standard spreadsheet formats: CSV, XLS, XLSX and TSV. EDG also supports cataloging of spreadsheet datasets.

Sharepoint 360
TopBraid EDG offers the following integrations with Sharepoint:
- Synchronization of EDG taxonomies with the Sharepoint Term Store
- Sharepoint used as a source of corpus

GraphQL
GraphQL endpoint in EDG supports mutations, letting you import into EDG any JSON data. For exporting data, EDG lets you use GraphQL to access all available available information. For more details see Querying EDG with GraphQL.

File System
TopBraid EDG can use a local files system as a source of the document corpus. Typically, used to make documents available to EDG for tagging.
Included in TopBraid Tagger with AutoClassifier module, used together with Vocabulary Management.
