About This Webinar

Aired Live on: November 7, 2019 @ 11:30 am ET

As Data Governance (DG) becomes more and more a reality within enterprises, engineers need to be able to build it into their systems just as they do key aspects of security, access control, logging, and analytics.  Currently, Data Governance, due to legacy environments, is often an afterthought and even with modern day deployments, is typically achieved (to varying degrees) within complex hybrid processes and infrastructure.  IT, DevOps, and DG are left separated and even at odds with one other.

TopBraid Enterprise Data Governance (TopBraid EDG) provides a forward looking approach and solution that architects, engineers, and business and data stewards can adopt and utilize in their designs, development, and operations.  TopBraid EDG’s core Knowledge Graph and GraphQL wrapper are fused, allowing the aforementioned roles to cooperate from the starting line.  TopBraid EDG’s UI was designed for the stewards and the GraphQL API for the technical team.  They can even meet in the middle and perform all model and metadata operations together in controlled workflows.  This means that their ‘to be governed’ assets can be dynamically modeled and the necessary metadata collected at any time as an ongoing part of any enterprise system (as it evolves from design and in use) instead of only ‘after the system.’

Who Should Attend:

  • Data and Business Stewards who want their structures and elements to be thought of as first-class citizens.
  • Architects and Engineers who are ready to ‘log’ some of the most important data points of their systems.
  • DevOps folks who know they can add Data Governance to their environments.

This webinar will present a new approach that is needed to deliver adaptive enterprise data governance.

In this webinar we will show how TopBraid EDG delivers adaptive enterprise data governance, with capabilities that:

  • Take back control of the user experience
  • Remove the barriers to interoperability
  •  Connect structured and unstructured information intelligently
  • Enable model-driven JSON APIs
  • Provide extensibility through dynamic introspection
