About This Webinar
Aired Live on: February 25, 2016 @ 11:30 am ET
Special Note: This is the second in a series of 30 minute ‘deep dive’ webinars on TopBraid Enterprise Vocabulary Net (EVN) that will feature short demos on some key capabilities for collaborative ontology management provided by TopBraid EVN 5.1.
Enterprises are increasingly using ontologies to help applications and data interoperate. Effective ontologies build connections between different business domains. They capture business and technical knowledge. They are rich and flexible, yet precise in their meaning.
Socializing ontologies and involving all relevant stakeholders in creating, governing and sharing them as enterprise assets can be challenging – yet it is key to success.
Who Should Attend: Ontologists, Taxonomists, Data Governance Stakeholders, Publishers, Metadata Specialists, Content Managers, Information Architects and anyone who works with ontologies, taxonomies, and other controlled vocabularies as well as the data or content related to these vocabularies.
Join us for this webinar to learn how managing ontologies with TopBraid EVN can provide your organization with these benefits:
- Support for collaboration in defining, linking and reviewing enterprise ontologies and taxonomies
- Role-based access control, notifications of change events, audit trails and change management
- Business-friendly UI for creating rich definitions and business rules
- Automated delivery of ontologies to enterprise applications combined with the ability to track their usage across the enterprise
- Configurability and flexibility to best fit the needs of your organization
