.. _WorkflowStatusTab: Workflow Status Tab =================== The Workflow (Status) tab can be found as leftmost tab from within workflows. It shows some basic information about the workflow, including: * **Label**: the display label of the workflow, as entered when the workflow started. This label can be edited with the pen button. * **Description**: the optional description of the workflow, also editable with the pen button. * **Editable included collections**: if the workflow also allows edits to other asset collections then these would be displayed here. There is a button to add other asset collections (which must be included) here. * **Workflow Template**: shows which workflow template was used when the workflow was started. Workflow templates define the states that a workflow can go through and the possible transitions between them. * **Current Status**: shows the currently active state of the workflow, e.g. *Frozen for Review*. * **Priority**: an optional field to select whether the workflow is deemed *critical*, *major*, *minor* or *critical*. The tab also offers to display a **Diagram View** of the workflow. That provides a graphical illustration of the workflow states as nodes and the transitions as edges. If permitted, you can use the green buttons on the diagram to move the workflow to the next state. At the bottom of the tab you can find links to change the workflow status. .. note:: Not every user is allowed to make these transitions, and depending on the workflow template some other conditions may need to be fulfilled before anyone can make transitions. **Further Reading on Workflows** * :ref:`understanding_and_using_workflows_target` **Further Reading on TopBraid** * :ref:`introduction`
