Settings > Default Namespace

This feature from the :ref:`SettingsTab` can be used by editors of an asset collection to specify
the default namespace that newly created assets shall use for their identifiers/URIs.

   Namespaces typically end with either # or /

.. tip::
   The default namespace should have a corresponding abbreviation on the
   :ref:`Settings_NamespacesAndPrefixes` page.
