Manage > Main Entity (Class) of Reference Dataset
-------------------------------------------------

This option is available from the :ref:`ManageTab` of Reference Dataset asset collections.
It can be used to select the main entity/class for the :ref:`SearchPanel`.
Once a class has been selected, it will also show the related classes, i.e. those that are
used in relationships with the main class.

.. note::
   Only classes that have been marked *public* classes (using ``graphql:publicClass``) in
   an included Ontology can be selected as main class of a reference dataset.
