Manage > Main Class (for Taxonomies)
------------------------------------

This option is available from the :ref:`ManageTab` of Taxonomy asset collections.
It defines the default selected class when creating a new Concept from the :ref:`TaxonomyConceptsPanel`.

.. note::
   The selected class must be a subclass of ``skos:Concept``.

The setting also defines the root class of the :ref:`SearchPanel`.
