DASH Vocabulary
---------------

The DASH vocabulary is an extension to SHACL developed by TopQuadrant but also
donated to the open source community.
Some external parties are now also using terms from that vocabulary.

DASH includes many features, some of which are listed under further reading.
Alongside with the :ref:`TOSHVocabulary`, the DASH vocabulary is automatically
included into every asset collection that TopBraid manages.
Some critical functionality relies on the presence of these two graphs.

.. note::
   If you do not want to use the DASH vocabulary in external applications, or when you publish
   your asset collection, you can remove the ``owl:imports`` statements that either point to
   DASH or the :ref:`TOSHVocabulary` after you have exported a Turtle file.
